Cooking for yourself has multiple benefits, from knowing your ingredients and preparing foods ideally suited to your tastes and nutritional needs, to the satisfaction of creating a delicious meal for yourself and loved ones. Sometimes, though, it’s nice to let someone else do the cooking. Fortunately, enterprising folks have launched food delivery services offering a variety of options that give you a way out of the routine of ordering delivery from local restaurants, dining out or try something different.
These options aren’t cheap, obviously, but they can be competitive with dining out frequently (or for those that tend toward more expensive grocery store trips), even ordering delivery locally, especially when you factor in gas and parking each time you go out, or delivery fees and tips. And, for many people who have no local vegan restaurants to order from, ordering from one of these services can offer a break and a special treat. Check ‘em out, and post in the comments below if you have any particular experiences with these services to share (or let us know if there are other national services of which we should be aware):
Links direct you to each service’s most informative page, to give you an idea what they offer and how they are different.
