It's not a happy ending. Tammy has once again put her dog's life at risk by leaving her unnatended this time tied up in her back yard. Daisy escaped and if you look at the charges it looks like another person or animal has been injured, and animal control had to be called once again. Now Daisy will suffer because of her owner's irresponsibility.

A happy ending would be Daisy being rehomed with a responsible owner!

Last time kind hearted people payed Tammy's fines in the hope that it would help Daisy. Nothing good came of it and now Daisy may die because of this (what did Daisy get less that 60 days of freedom??). If BSL was not an issue would anyone be paying for someone elses court fine if their dog injured a person or a dog? Nope, so why help this person out again?

This is the new charges against Tammy. Reconsider helping the owner and focus on rehoming the dog so that we dog lovers don't have to watch Daisy constantly in jeopardy because of the actions of her careless owner:

Case # op08194358

The Charges are as follows

Count#1
Did being the owner of a dog, fail to comply with a final order contrary to section 4 (3) of the Dog Owner's Liability Act

Count #2
and further that Tammy Brown on or about the 25th day of June 2008 at the town of Penetanguishene in the County of Simcoe did being the owner of a dog, fail to prevent biting or attacking a person or domestic animal contrary to section 5.1 of the Dog Owners Liability Act.

Count #3
and further that Tammy Brown on or about the 25th day of June 2008 at the town of Penetanguishene in the County of Simcoe did being the owner of a dog, allow a pit bull in her possession to stray contrary to section 6(e) of the Dog Owners Liability Act.

Count#4
and further that Tammy Brown on or about the 25th day of June 2008 at the town of Penetanguishene in the County of Simcoe did being the owner of a dog, fail to ensure a pit bull is at all times secured by a leash contrary to regulation 157/05(1) of the Dog Owners Liability Act.

Court Date Aug 7th/08 @ 9:00am
10 Roberts St West, Penetanguishene, ON

Not sure where to go with this? It would be better for Daisy to go to a new home but how do you do that?

This is just so frustating!!!
